Cape Breton
Highland Inn

After our trip to the Highland Village we popped into the Highland Inn for a bite to eat and received excellent hospitality. In fact I met a fellow MacIntyre who was singing while we ate and the manager introduced us to James St. Clair, a noteable historian on the island who gave me a signed copy of one of his books. They also gave us a complimentary meal which was much appreciated.  Certainly a very friendly place with excellent food.

And here is a fellow MacIntyre on the left and the manager on the right

And here is James St. Clair presenting me with a copy of his book

And a wee history of the MacNeil's on the back of the menu

And so you will see from the menu and brochure that it's a great place to stay
